Google Chrome Extension
Project Overview
My project aims to provide an inclusive web browsing experience for neurodivergent users. With this free Chrome extension, users gain access to customizable fonts and a bionic text converter. Join me in creating a more accessible online environment for everyone.
Project Details:
The goal of this project is to create a Chrome extension that will make it easier for people with ADHD and dyslexia to read online content. The extension will provide the option to toggle between Arial and Comic Sans, which are more readable for people with dyslexia. Additionally, the extension will include a bionic text converter, which can help people with ADHD to read more quickly and comprehend more information.
One of the challenges of this project is ensuring that the font changes are applied consistently across different websites and content. The development process will involve testing and refining the font changing and text conversion features to ensure that they work seamlessly with various types of online content.
An accomplishment of this project will be creating an accessible tool that is available to everyone for free. By providing this extension to the public, we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of many neurodivergent individuals who struggle with reading online content.
Project Demo:
The toggle buttons would be able to turn on and off simultaneously
The extension would be collapsable to offer less crowding for those reading on webpages
