My Journey To User Experience
Art and Psychology to UX
My love for both fine arts and psychology led me to my degree in Technology Communications from The Ohio State University, with my focus being on User Experience Design and Human-Computer interaction. As the industry and knowledge around this practice grows, I've also begun learning some of the introductory coding languages including HTML, CSS5, and Python. I love how the world of data and design work together in harmony and am always looking for projects and positions to strengthen my skills!
Who I Am Outside of Work
Art and Murals
Painting and art have been my side hobbies for years, allowing me to express my creativity and bring color to my life. I've also had the opportunity to assist artists at the Babe Walls mural festival in Denver, Colorado, where I honed my skills and gained invaluable experience. Being a part of the festival was an amazing experience, and I can't wait to continue pursuing my passion for art!
Traveling
I love to travel and experience new cultures! I find it so fascinating to learn about different art forms and how they reflect the unique values and traditions of a society. Whenever I'm traveling, I make it a point to visit museums and galleries and to participate in local festivals and customs. For me, there's nothing quite like the personal growth and learning that comes with exploring the world.
